JOB DESCRIPTION

●  Jiaxing Zhejiang
●  Title: Full- time Teacher
●  Reports to: the director of studies (DOS) and center Director(CD)
●  Working hours and locations: 
Every week 20 hours teaching and 20 hours office working in the non-peak season.The peak season is 25 hours teaching and 23 hours office working. The teacher will be required to work 5 days per week during the non-peak seasons and 6 days per week during the peak seasons(July and August , January and February). The 6th working day per week during peak season shall be compensated later.
●If school has special activity or special need, schools communicate with teacher one day ahead of time about it. 
●Teachers may be asked to work morning and evening shifts in the same day. Teachers may have teaching duties in the center off-site.

Main Responsibilities:
1.Carry out the timetable of classes assigned by the DOS.
2.Give lessons to the highest standard of English language training.
3.Become familiar with the programs and courses of study at the center and as directed by Scholastic guidelines.
4.Begin and end classes on time.
5.Prepare lessons and equipment in advance for all classes. 
6.Substitute for absent colleagues, perhaps at short notice, on or off-site.
7.Administer, correct and record the results of progress reports, tests and assessments for students.
8.Carry out teaching related responsibilities including,but not limited to demonstration classes, Life clubs,tutorials,story tellers,make up lessons,seminars and presentations.
9.Attend centre social events.
10.Take on administrative work and/or projects including,but not limited to cataloguing supplementary materials, giving workshops and organizing extra-curricular events ,as directed by the DOS.
11.Assist the DOS upon request with the development and marketing of courses and induction of sales, service, and teaching staff into the practices of the center.
12.Keep the teacher’s room, equipment, and resources well-organized and in good condition.
13.Observe and be observed by the Dos and teaching colleagues.
Career plan:
Teacher can develop his teaching skills and progress to the Senior Teacher position.

REQUIREMENTS:

●  Hold at least Bachelor degree or above

●  Hold TESOL, TEFL,CELTA or equivalent certificates

●  Related teaching experience prefer

●  Speak Standard English.

●  Native Speakers from US, UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa or Excellent non native

●  Meet other requirements for Working Z-visa.
