Position Title Early Years Teacher

Report to Head of School Direct reports

Year Level Coordinator

DETAILS

1. Student age: 2-6

2. Class size: 20 students

3. Working hours: 7:50am-4:30pm, one hour lunch break, Monday to Friday

4. IEYC& EYFS curriculum

5. Locati: onEr Sha Hui, Yuexiu distract, GZ

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Plan lessons and using IEYC Learning Principles and EYFS Guiding Principles as evidence to monitor progress in every child’slearning.

2. Work productively within teams for the benefit of teaching and learning and continuing professional development

3. Provide regular formal and informal information to parents of children in your class.

4. Attend regular meetings, review meetings and activities.

5. Be responsible for the health and safety and Safeguarding ofstudents.

6. Establish medium term plans for themes throughout the academic year. Ensuring coverage and inclusion of international aspects.

7. Other tasks appointed by leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

1. Native English Speaker from: US, UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland or South Africa.

2. Bachelor degree holders or above.

3. Major in Teaching and Teaching qualification/certificate.

4. Minimum teaching experience of 2 years.

5. Knowledge and understanding of the IEYC curriculum and the EYFS curriculum (Desirable)

6. Excellent inter-personal skills.

7. Can apply Chinese Z visa in teaching position.
