JOB DESCRIPTION

●  Position of High-school Biology and Chemistry teacher

●  Staring since March 2022

Job Description:

1. To begin and build upon foundations to give students a more in-depth understanding of Biology and prepare them for future AP testing.
2. To deliver Pre-AP Biology and Pre-AP Chemistry contents to Grade 10 and Grade 9 students.
3. To deliver AP Biology and AP Chemistry to students in Grade 11 and 12
4. By designing effective and creative lessons and assessments to ensure students’ education is at an internationally competitive level.
5. To maintain up-to-date records of students progress across all aspects of performance
6. To ensure that your students make good or outstanding progress in Science
7. To deal effectively with behaviour, attendance and punctuality issues，To attend relevant meetings
8. To undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by the Head Teacher
9. To contribute to areas of departmental development as a member of the Science team

Requirements and Qualifications: 

●  Major: Biology, Biochemistry A Bachelor’s degree and ability to successfully pass a background clearance.

●  Valid teaching certification.

●  Prefer candidates to have rich lab working experience.

●  Demonstrate strong communication skills in teaching ideas, texts, and concepts with precision and confidence.

●  Must be open to new ideas in teaching.

Salary and benefit

●  17,000-22,000 RMB befor tax per month

●  2000 RMB housing allowance per month

●  Full pay in winter holiday；half pay in first year summer holiday （second year will be full pay）

●  No office time

●  12-16 class per week

●  Medical insurance
